SAFETY IN THE LAB WITH RI WITNESS

The RI Witness System is a computer-assisted monitoring system that monitors and documents every step in the laboratory. This, in addition to the four-eyes principle always practiced in the laboratory, prevents confusion of semen material and oocytes. Each culture dish and vessel carries a microchip that is read via a plate integrated into the work surface. If a foreign vessel is placed on the plate, the system sounds an alarm. Each pair is given a system card, which is also used to log the pair into the system and identify them.

The RI Witness System has been in use in over 40 countries since 2007, offering couples, embryologists and physicians the greatest possible safety in all laboratory procedures.

MEMBER OF THE FERTIPROTEKT NETWORK SINCE 2021

The Fertiprotekt Network is an association of centers from Germany, Austria and Switzerland that deal with fertility protection (preservation of fertility). The focus is on providing advice on fertility protection before planned therapies, mostly in the context of cancer (surgery, chemotherapy, radiation), which can lead to a loss or limitation of fertility. However, diseases of the immune system and thereby necessary therapy or endometriosis can also lead to a limitation of fertility. Various methods are available, which can also be combined depending on the planned therapy.
